Blogging not Simple

My dear hubby bought me a copy of "Blogging for Dummies" by Brad Hill. The first item noticed was the frequency of posts; announcing that blogs are typically begun with frequent posting and that as time passes, the intervals grow longer.

Nice. And right after that life began to take over and my blog as been ignored for more than two weeks. Did I mention that the reason I needed this book is to teach an OLLI course on "Really Simple Blogging?" You would think that the teacher would learn the ropes before instructing the students but then the impetius for the class is to learn more 'about' the bloggosphere.

I'm off to the dentist for the semi-annual check up and then to session of 8 of the 8 week dancerCIZE class. That's right. This is week eight and the last week of both dancerCIZE and Couples Ballroom. EF and I practiced West Coast Swing and Rumba this morning after breakfast but will need much more practice time before Missy returns in December. At that time we hope to have a couple more lessons before the January cruise takes us out for a week.

And my Mother's visit is over and done. Staying with my sister in Elon, she left Saturday for Kansas City and I'm told she already has finished the laundry. I got off to a slow start with pictures for here (color toner low), but a stop at Staples should fix that problem.

More to tell this afternoon. First I need to stop at the library and look for more books on blogging. Especially when to stop.
