If you have already read yesterday's blog - go back. I made some blaring errors which hae now been corrected.
1. Josef Hoffman, not Hans Hoffman was Lillian Langseth-Christensen's teacher in the 1920s. Am I the only one to confuse Hans the abstract painter with Josef the Vienna Secession designer? Both Viennese they are fascinating men who added much to the visual arts of the 20th century.
2. LLC's No Cook Cookbook "approaches the idea of serving good food withOUT fuss by buying the best ingredients and using simple processes." Obviously deleting the 'out' changes the meaning drastically. This little book is a rare jewel of a cooking guide.
Thankfully I have some readers who follow me on occassion. I know not who you are (well my dear SD accounts for many hits), the counter just turned over 14,000 hits. That's in about four years not just recently but the notion that somewhere 14,000 people have chosen to read my ramblings is humbling.
But I remain undaunted - there are blank pages waiting to be filled and given the right time and moment I will be back to add to the ongoing saga that is my life.
May you live long and prosper, bb
