Souffle Ready! |
The Fuchs are still in the throes of house selling, keeping our bodies in shape and getting ready for another winter. As of this date we have not seen snow in Chapel Hill but that does not mean winter isn't coming.
Christmas Eve DH and I stayed in to enjoy our annual Grand Marnier Soufflé - a pouf of dinner made with lots of egg whites and a couple of whole eggs. Cheers!
Yard work, mulching, raking leaves and clearing garage clutter took up the last week of December.

Our big celebration came New Years Eve with a holiday package at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Concord, NC. For those of you who don't know the Shag is the official popular dance of North Carolina - and there many local bands who play shag music.
Ready to Shag |
Terri Gore of Legends |
Terri was been elected to the Beach Music Hall of Fame 2010 and is one of a dozen ladies known as Queens of Southern Soul. Her energy far surpassed ours but we lasted until 11 p.m., then headed to bed as I watched the Times Square count down (DH was fast asleep).
Under Construction |
Our next goal: moving into our new villa at Carolina Meadows, expected to be sometime in May (+/-) of 2012, so we stay focused on selling the house and pre-packing anything than can be stored until the move.
January 9th the OLLI Winter term begins and EF gets back to band practice and I start stretching for a weekly dance class.
The first day of Spring is about eleven weeks away but the Election is not until November.
